Maroon 5 return with their very ace new single ‘Misery’ this week. The track retains the familiar and much loved and distinctive Maroon 5 sound but it’s revved up a thousand notches thanks to legendary producer Mutt Lange. The video was shot and directed by Joseph Kahn. You can download the single from iTunes here.
‘Misery’ is the first track to be taken from the band’s third studio album entitled ‘Hands All Over’, which is released here in the UK on Monday (20th September). ‘Hands All Over’ will be available in two editions – the standard version features 12 tracks (14 digitally on iTunes) and was written by frontman Adam Levine and was produced entirely by Mutt Lange. The deluxe version contains an additional five tracks (seven tracks if purchased digitally from iTunes), it includes further new material, cover versions (from the studio or live performance) and acoustic versions of album tracks… a producer of one of the additional tracks is Rodney ‘Darkchild’ Jerkins!
You can stream and listen to five tracks from the album ahead of its release over at we7 by clicking here.
