Cheryl Cole’s new single ‘Promise This’ is a pretty good proper pop song! It will no doubt divide many ESP with the chanty bits! However, as far as we are concerned it is a step in the right direction, showcasing a newer, revamped sound that is importantly a million miles away from the many below par tracks written and produced by will.i.am that were featured on ‘3 Words’.

The video is quite dark, and features lots of shots of Cheryl looking pensive, a look she does so well! Oh, the dance moves during the chanty bits are much harder to pull off than they initially look!

‘Promise This’ will be released on 24th October, followed by Chery’s still untitled second solo album on 1st November.
