Sia FINALLY releases her fourth studio album ‘We Are Born’ in the UK this week. The album is scintillatingly good, full of power pop tracks, catchy hooks, honest and truthful lyrics AND flawless vocals.

Each of the thirteen tracks are very very excellent and each has something unique to offer… Album opener ‘The Fight’ has a strong anthemic feel to it, the tale of overcoming adversity will resonate with everyone. The lead single ‘Clap Your Hands’ is clearly one of the best songs of the year AND the video is completely AMAZING too, you can see it here in a previous post.

Other highlights include the effortlessly catchy and upbeat ‘Stop Trying’, the huge funky rhythms and beats featured on ‘You’ve Changed’ are to die for and ‘Never Gonna Leave Me’ has adorable lyrics and a hugely infectious chorus. Elsewhere, ‘Cloud’ and ‘I’m In Here’ are both rather lovely and beautiful pieces of music. ‘The Co-Dependent’ is a splendid number too thanks to its jaunty beats and familiar lyrics. Oh heck, even the cover of Madonna’s track ‘Oh Father’ is grrrreat!
