Ciara’s previously announced forthcoming album ‘One Woman Army’ has been retitled and now has a release date, artwork and tracklisting – crikey!
The now self-titled collection will NOT contain previous singles ‘Sweat’, ‘Sorry’ and ‘Got Me Good’, so therefore the lead single from the album is the mighty fine and seductive ‘Body Party’, with the accompanying video premiering on 22nd April.
Speaking about the album title change, Ciara revealed “I started working on this record more than a year ago, and since then, I have found my creative clarity on the direction I wanted to go in.” “It was almost a whole surge of fresh energy, and I pushed myself to be even more creative,” Ciara explains. “I’m more open to change. I’m learning so much of about myself, and I’ve become really comfortable and free. This album goes beyond my music. It’s about my life.”
‘Ciara’ is an eleven track effort that features collaborations with Nicki Minaj and Future, whilst production duties have been handled by the likes of Mike Will Made It, Rodney ‘Darkchild’ Jerkins and D’Mile. The album will be available from 8th July and is currently available to pre-order on iTunes here.
Rather brilliant news all-round!
