Amazon Music now features an exclusive new track from the wondrous KT Tunstall on it’s digital music page and for ZERO pence… ‘The Thief’ is an acoustic number that is short and simple yet powerful and full of heart and tenderness – the final lines “Oh sister on the sidelines, sure enough it’s time for me to leave” – heart wrenching and tinged with utter sadness. The legendary Sheryl Crow’s eighth studio album now has a title, tracks listing and release date! The country debut from Sheryl is titled ‘Feels Like Home’ and consists of twelve tracks – the titles of which can be seen here. The album will be released in the US and Canada on 10th September with the international date currently set for 26th September.
The phenomenally amazing Kelly Clarkson has unveiled the video for her latest release ‘People Like Us’ which is the second single to be taken from her ‘Greatest Hits – Chapter One’ retrospective. The single is powerful, anthemic and uplifting song of overcoming negativity, unity and togetherness. It is another in your face slice of pop perfection from Kelly… as if you’d expect anything less! The single itself is released digitally on 23rd June.
The superbly amazing Bright Light Bright Light offers ‘Moves’ as the final release to be taken from his sublime and outstandingly magnificent debut album ‘Make Me Believe In Hope‘. Lyrically, ‘Moves’ is a confessional bittersweet tale, that thoughtfully reflects upon the ending of a relationship, whilst visually, the lonely yet elegant and effortlessly captivating journey was captured and directed by Paul Frankl. ‘Moves’ is released on 3rd June and is backed by a new track ‘This Is Me Without You‘.
Ke$ha has premiered the video for her latest offering ‘Crazy Kids’ which serves as the third release from her tremendous second studio collection ‘Warrior’. The single version of the track features a guest appearance from will.i.am and he cleverly makes a cameo in the spirited and wacky video too.
Critics Choice BRIT Award winner, Tom Odell is currently preparing the release of his debut album ‘Long Way Down’ on 24th June with the first official release of a song that originally appeared on an EP titled ‘Songs From Another Love’ that was released last year, despite this ‘Another Love’ remains a gloriously beautiful arresting and fragile yet rousing piano led song that allows Tom to emote with a devastatingly heartbreaking outcome. This was a spinetingling highlight from his set at the BRIT Award 2013 launch event earlier this year.
Following two sold-out shows in January and an appearance at Field Day festival during the May bank holiday weekend, the incredible Solange returns to London to play a show at Koko in Camden on 16th August. Tickets are on sale from Friday 31st May at 9am.
Justin Timberlake has been confirmed to play the iTunes Festival on 29th September. The annual month long series of concerts takes place at The Roundhouse in Camden. Other acts confirmed include Jessie J, 30 Seconds To Mars, Jake Bugg and Phoenix with the full line-up announced sporadically.
